When I moved in the ‘landlord’ was a dodgy looking guy who took my deposit and rent. This deposit was never held in any sort of protected scheme and it turns out this rouge ‘landlord’ was actually subletting the property. As a result I have never received my deposit back. The actual landlord ‘Gupta’ denies all knowledge of this and seemed to me as corrupt and rouge as the dodgy character he has running the dump of a house.
